Spot the bias
A list of biases is easy to learn and almost useless, because the error never arrives with its name on. It arrives as a plausible story at work or at home. This is practice at catching it there: fifteen reasoning errors, a few sentences each, one tell per scenario.
45 scenarios · 15 biases · keys 1 to 4 to answer · enter to lock in
10 short scenarios. Each hides one reasoning error; name it from four. The explanation after each answer points at the tell you were meant to catch, and the table below keeps count of which errors keep getting past you.

Why name them
Knowing a bias exists does little on its own; what helps is recognising the shape of one while it is happening, in a situation that does not announce itself. Each scenario here carries one tell, a detail that rules the neighbouring errors out, and the explanation points at it. The table is the part worth watching: a bias you keep mistaking for another is the one to read up on.
